Many decisions are almost impossibly difficult. We ruminate, vacillate, agonize. What should we do?

While Republicans do what it takes to accomplish things, Democrats are constrained by morals and ethics, by wanting to be good and decent people.

The only constant is change. You can’t step in the same river twice. You can’t go home again. We change as we age and the world changes around us. Change can be stressful, but resisting change can also be stressful.

A lack of trust is strongly correlated with unhappiness. In the U.S. we are seeing an increasing lack of trust between people on different sides of the partisan divide.

Nothing is meant by this by this comic. I just like cats, and the Tolkien paraphrase seemed appropriate.

People love to take delight in other people’s misfortune. Sometimes this delight can be a big motivator.
