We complain that our governments are not doing enough to solve future problems, but most of us aren’t doing much about our own individual future problems.

The world seems to be increasingly dysfunctional. As global warming and automation put more stresses on society, what will we do?

While America vacillates over autonomous cars – and many other things – China is going all out to take a leadership role.
Everything is changing. People live longer, robots and machine learning are eliminating jobs, global warming will cause migrations of people. People’s way of life will be disrupted but few governments are even looking at the potential problems, let alone addressing them.
Most of us are in favor of saving the environment. Until it requires actions that conflict with our lifestyle.

People everywhere have similar dreams and hopes. Yet it’s all too easy to regard those not like us as inferior, not worthy of consideration.

97% of the world’s scientists are unified in thinking that global warming is caused by human activity. The other 3% are funded by industry or right-wing billionaires. This proves conclusively that there is a vast conspiracy to mislead the public.

This is just an attempt to amuse you based on the fact that with global warming, places are not what they used to be. They can be hotter, wetter, drier. Maybe virtual reality is the way to ensure consistently good vacations….. or is it?
