  1. Yes!!!! I guess Facebook management finally figured out how bad they are damaging people’s mental health and also character development.

Instagram test will hide like count Jul. 18, 2019 3:41 AM ETFacebook, Inc. (FB)By: Yoel Minkoff, SA News Editor16 Comments A new trial by Instagram (NASDAQ:FB) will see the social networking service hide the the number of likes on posts in several countries, including Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Italy, Japan and Brazil. “We hope this test will remove the pressure of how many likes a post will receive, so you can focus on sharing the things you love,” said Mia Garlick, Facebook Australia and New Zealand director of policy.Users will still be able to see a list of likes on their posts, just not the overall number, while video views will also be hidden My warmest regards,

    1. If you accomplished something that you are proud of, it seems reasonable to share it with people close to you. But I think the concern of the cats is that with social media, people share far too much, with far too many people. When someone shares where they had a beer, or something they did ten years ago, or something they’ve done for the 100th time, or a picture of a moon that ten million other people have shared, it seems, as the red cat says, a desperate plea for attention. Of course, the cats may be completely wrong about all this, but don’t tell them that – they are rather shackled to the chains of people’s opinions of what they say 🙂
