This comic was inspired by the wonderfully misanthropic book Ill Nature: Rants and Reflections on Humanity and Other Animals, by Joy Williams. “With wicked irony and wacky humor, essayist and novelist Williams assails hunters, land developers, and scientists who experiment on animals.” – Kirkus Reviews.

Very interesting. Especially as one thinks about Shanghai and the lack of rights they have right now

Interesting points presented in that comic. A few questions come to mind, and I hope you’re ok with answering them.
1. From where do you derive your moral code?
2. Is morality objective or subjective?
3. What is the moral difference, if any, between a human hunter who kills prey quickly, and African wild dogs, who are known for chasing down their prey and eating it while it’s still alive?

A moral code common to many religions is: Don’t do to others what you would not want done to yourself. It appears to be largely about preventing the suffering of others. As far as I know, African wild dogs are not making conscious choices to cause suffering.
