I understand your cats reasoning, but to remain silent was the mistake made in Nazi Germany, I will not be silenced. For a great story on the strides made by being vocal, see the New Yorker article on Larry Kramer. Someone who Dr. Fauci now gives credit for changing the way the CDC operates.
I think that the people who made a difference all took action. They got personally involved. I’m not convinced that reading things on social media does anything except confirm one’s prejudices and conspiracy theories. Of course, I’ve been wrong before!
